STREET ART IN HONG KONG
A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to tick two countries off my travel wishlist - Bali and Hong Kong.
I was particularly impressed by the amazing art scene that sprawled across the cities of Hong Kong. In addition to the many galleries and exhibitions, what struck me most was the street art found tucked away in narrow alleyways. Whether it was the playfulness of graffiti art, or the intricately drawn wall murals, or even the simple pops of colours on some of the smaller buildings, this was an art lover’s paradise!
A collage of some my photos of the street art in Hong Kong.
This week’s colour scheme draws inspiration from the streets of Hong Kong that have been turned into stunning works of art. I would definitely recommend spending a day wandering the sights to get your creative buzz. It beats the usual grey and concrete we are used to :)To give you a head-start, here are my favourite places to visit:
- Hollywood Road
- Elgin Street
- Public Square Street
- Peel Street
- Art Lane
I definitely will be looking to visit again!
